What happened to fort Washington and fort lee?

Fort Washington and Fort Lee were two American fortifications located on opposite sides of the Hudson River in New York during the Revolutionary War. In November 1776, British forces attacked and captured Fort Washington, leading to the surrender of its garrison. Fort Lee, which was intended to support Fort Washington, was subsequently abandoned by American troops to avoid encirclement.
