Who said it was?
Furthermore how are you defining addiction?
I suppose the simplest answer is it is more available.
Nothing close I have been addicted to iv heroin/morphine/fentanyl all other opiates and smoked a pack a day, i quit smoking in 2 weeks and for 4 days I had cravings so I had bad anxiety and in a bad mood. However when I went to detox after dying from fentanyl I withdrew for 3 weeks, the first 5 days I literally could not sleep and was going insane, throwing up, diarea, absolutaly no motivation feeling suicidal for first time, my entire body ached and would not allow my body to get comfortable but they gave me adivan after day 4 and it helped me sleep during the day. It has been said that it takes about a week for a person to adapt to their surrounding, like jail the first week was hell but started becoming a routine. but opiates are physical and mentally addictive and physical addiction is a longer process. tobacco is more of a habit and is mental.
