When did the Atlantis explode?

There were two fatal-all hands accidents in the Space Shuttle program. They involved the Challenger (l986) and more recently the Columbia. the Challenger blew up= exploded within the atmosphere. No accident of any kind has happened to the Space craft Atlantis. Atlantis, the continent, sunk as a result of Earthquakes and Tidal waves, not explosions or Volcanism!
