Can a 13 year old wear contact lenses?

Yes a 11 year old can wear contact lenses. The question is .... is this 11 yr old responsible enough to manage and care for his or her eyes? Be trusted to do the right thing like removing them when the eye is red, burning, itching, pain etc. ? Keeping the lenses clean? hands clean? Disposing the lenses after its life span, 1 month or 2 weeks? Not sleeping in contacts? Not swimming in contacts? And not over wearing contacts? Totally up to the parents
