In Animal Crossing City Folk does a new city shop open?

U can get lots stores including able sisters, nookingtons, ballon shop, gracies fashion shop, lyles insurance shop, Dr shrunks magic show, katrina's shop, redd's shop, and the shoe shine shop... um... thats all i know. Oh1 and u can also make your house into a shop and on the flea market people in ur town BUY OFF U. so u get the money. The flea market is on the 1st of every MONTH.
