What three things have to be true in order for something to be an Element?

For something to be classified as an element, it must consist of only one type of atom, meaning all its atoms share the same atomic number. It cannot be broken down into simpler substances through chemical reactions. Additionally, elements are represented on the Periodic Table, each with unique properties and characteristics.
