Is it ok to use visine drops in children under two?

The drops themselves are unlikely to cause any harm, but a child that young should not need them. If a child that small needs eye drops they should be taken to their pediatrician to see why their eyes are inflammed. The drops don't help to heal anything, they just make the symptoms decrease, so whatever is causing the inflammation is still there and could be doing permanent damage.
