What religion does US recognize?

The United States of America is arguably one of the freest nations of the modern world. They do not have state religion and their right to practise any religion of their choosing is safeguarded by the First Amendment to the American Constitution which also guarantees freedom of the press, the right of the people to assemble for whatever purpose and the right to petition the government.
