How do you delete an app on a second generation iPod touch?

I am assuming that the iPod Touch 2nd generation is the same as the iphone 2.x. If so, you have two options:

1) Use iTunes to delete the app. Simply connect your iPod to iTunes, go to your device, then to "Apps," click on the app you want to remove and then press the "Del" button on your keyboard. You will then be asked if you want to permanently delete it or if you just want to remove it from your device.

2) Hold your finger on one of the app icons on your iPod for two or three seconds. The app icons will then start to wiggle back and forth. You will see a red "X" in the top right corner of each icon. Click that red "X" to delete the app. You will then be asked to rate the app before deleting it.
