How do you setup a universal remote?

Basically you need to push the power button followed bt the device you are operating ie tv then input the first code then the leds should blink twice then push power button again if tv turns on or off depending which the set was on when you started (it should do the opposite if on at the start should turn off etc ) if it does push the ok or memory button that locks in that code if the correct one at first go should operate the set in every way if it doesnt then start again and move on to the next code you may find along the way the codes will turn it on and off but not all functions its basically hit and miss sometimes its the last code that works lifes like that sometimes if no joy with any contact the manufacturers and ask for the search code this runs through all possible codes and finds the exact one hope this helps
