What books does Islam use?

Islam is based on the Qur'an and Hadith. The holy book used in Islam is the Qur'an. Allah revealed the Qur'an to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), through angel Jubril (Gabriel). The Qur'an is considered Allah's Words and free of mistakes. The Hadith is the sayings and practices of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during his lifetime. However, there are various books written by Islamic scholars which are meant to increase the understanding of the Qur'an and the Hadith of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Allah knows best!
