Is silver the hedgehog the son of Sonic the Hedgehog?

From clues that have been pieced together, it seems highly likely. Clues include his spiked hairdo, which some consider to have uncanny similarity to Sonic's quills (it is stated that he has a different fur color from his parents because of futuristic genetic engineering) and the fact that Silver comes from the future and shares a great deal of abilities with sonic. Also, biologically it is possible because they are both hedgehogs (this could also mean that Amy is his mother.) Silver is Sonic's son. Yet the person who made movies or shows, or Cartoons of them for some reason says that Silver's parents are Shadow and Amy. So no one really knows and probably never will unless SEGA finally decides to tell us until then. We can believe who are Silver's parents since we don't know who they are so we can all disagree or agree with each other just know that no one really has the true answer about it.
