What can you write on a birthday card for a one year old?

I would think there are only two reasons to write anything on a birthday card for a one year old, since they cannot read. You are writing something the parent(s) can enjoy, or something the child can read and enjoy later in life. Keep these things in mind, when you decide what to write.
