How do you stop the CD from spinning?

To stop a CD from spinning, you can simply open the CD drive tray, which disengages the motor that spins the disc. Alternatively, if the CD is in a player, you can pause or stop the playback using the device's controls. If the CD is in a car stereo or similar device, pressing the eject button will also stop it from spinning.
