Where were the CA missions located?

The California missions were primarily located along the California coast, stretching from San Diego in the south to Sonoma in the north. They were established by Spanish missionaries between 1769 and 1823, forming a chain of 21 missions. Many of these missions were situated near present-day cities and along the historic El Camino Real, which connected them for easier travel and communication.
