The British were taxing the colonists on tea,lead,paper,and even playing cards. The colonists were forced to buy the tea. So they stared a boycott. A boycott is a refusal to buy something. So they stoped buying the tea.The SONS OF LIBERTY was a group of patriots. They disguised themselves as Mohawk Indianans and dumped British tea off of the ship, this was called the Boston TEA PARTY. The British were mad and they closed down the Boston harbor until the colonists could pay for it. Everything that the British did upsetted the colonists so they sent a note saying that they were still loyal to KING GEORGE 3 in Great Britain. King George 3 didn't even want to read it.When the Revolutionary War began the first battle was at Lexington and Concord. The Americans won the Revolutionary War!
