What year were tandy takes renamed kandy kakes?

I don't know the date the name was changed from Tandy Takes, but I do know that as a child in the 1950s and maybe even later in the 60s they were called Tandy Takes.

I moved from Pennsylvania in 1978. They were still 'Tandy Takes' then, as far as I can remember.
