Are gurkha cigars the best of the best Are they any good?

This is like asking where can I get the best Pizza. It depends on who you ask. Your taste and what you like is up to you. Take no body's advice on the "best." Gurkha makes about 35 different lines, each with several sizes and they all taste different. Some I really like and some I find just acceptable. I have never smoked one that I didn't like.

I have also never paid retail price for these cigars. They are expensive.

Sales and discounts come around often enough, so you can sample some at more reasonable cost.

I prefer the Legend and the Regent. Medium smokes with lots of flavor. When in mood for a fuller smoke I prefer the Shaggy.

Look for a sampler that contains one or two and try it. Just remember that what you tried is only one of many.
