Who invented the snowball?

Ted Sandmeier from Bowdle So. Dak. invented the 1st "snowbird". He flew a cub piper for many years. When a storm damaged the wings of the plane, he took the motor and the propellers, attached it to the front part of the plane that he cut off just past the cone, put skies on it and away he went!! It could carry 2 adults or 3 children and 1 adult. My Dad was a genius!!!
