Yes, cows can graze in clover fields. Take for example red clover, it is a wild plant that is used for grazing cattle and other animals. Red clover (or it's extracts) have also been used by traditional as well as modern medicine to treat a number of conditions including cancer, whooping cough, respiratory problems, and skin inflammations, such as psoriasis and eczema. More recently tests have concluded that red clover contains isoflavones, plant-based chemicals that produce estrogen-like effects in the body. However is not understood fully at this time if these estrogen-like effects of isoflavones can pass through a grazing cows digestive system and pass into milk collected from said animal. Until more research is done we can not know if estrogen-like effects will pass from animals to people through way of produced milk or if these effects will even be measurable.
