Who was the king of Syria?

Faisal bin Hussein bin Ali al-Hashemi became the king of Greater Syria on 1920 March 7, before being deposed by the French on July 25, forcing al-Hashemi to take refuge in the United Kingdom. He was later made King of Iraq on 1921 August 23.
