Is the offside of a car the drivers seat?

In automotive terms, "offside" typically refers to the side of the vehicle opposite the driver's seat. In countries where vehicles drive on the left, the offside is the right side; in countries where vehicles drive on the right, it's the left side. Therefore, the driver's seat is not considered the offside of the car.
