How do you become an otaku?

You wear glasses, have a comb-over so you look stupid, hike your pants up, avoid making friends, and act like you know everything. (You must be smart.) Of course, that is just stereotype nerd. You can be introverted or outgoing, as long as you are socially awkward. Being smart and wearing bad clothing are nerd trademarks.
