Does a Grizzly bear grow larger than a Polar bear?

They can grow a bit taller at the shoulder and outweigh the Polar bear by 500 pounds, but the Polar bears grow longer (Polar bears up to 11 feet long, Grizzlies only up to 7 feet long!)
