What does the Bible say about women having dreads or braids?

Nothing. What The Bible does say is women should keep their head covered and there is an implication that this is with long hair. Actually the meaning is to stay covered by Christ as protection from the fallen Angels, who will be coming in the end times.

When this letter was written, braided hair, excessive jewelry and fine clothes were all associated with prostitution. Paul wasn't "condemning braids" so much as he was simply teaching that Christian women shouldn't make themselves look like harlots, whatever that may mean to current society.
