It is mentioned in Quran that Laylat-ul-Qadr is better than 1000 month and that it is a night of peace and Allah forgiving to his believers who pray for God forgiveness. You usually on this night (which is expected to be within the last ten nights of Ramadan month) perform more volunteer or non-compulsory praying (called Taraweeh, Tahajjud, and/or Qiam), you read more in Quran, you give more charities to the poor, and strive in asking for God forgiving and blessing.
