When was the first Canoe used?

The first canoes are believed to have been used around 8,000 to 10,000 years ago. Archaeological evidence suggests that these early canoes were made from hollowed-out tree trunks and were primarily used by indigenous peoples for fishing and transportation. The oldest known canoe, the Pesse canoe, dates back to around 8,000 BCE and was discovered in the Netherlands.
