How many hours from colombo to Adam's peak?

From Colombo it is best to catch an express train to Kandy, then another to Adam's peak. It is relatively cheap and takes about4 hours and it is a very pleasant trip. Another way is to pay a lot more and get a taxi directly there. Any taxi driver will take you. The roads are very dangerous and there is a lot of stop and start.
