Pat Benatar's first drummer was Neil Giraldo, who also became her longtime collaborator and husband. However, before Giraldo joined her band, the original drummer was Myron Grombacher, who played on her early albums. Grombacher was part of Benatar's band during her rise to fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
