Is it illegal to smoke salvia?

In most places there isn't a law yet but some American states it is banned by law, Canada it is banned from minors (under 19 or 18 in Alberta), it can only be grown not sold or bought in Russia, and in Australia and some parts of Europe it is also banned by law.
