How do you get the face plate off of skimmer?

To remove the faceplate from a skimmer, first, turn off the pool pump to prevent water from flowing. Use a screwdriver to carefully unscrew any visible screws holding the faceplate in place. If the faceplate is also secured with clips, gently pry them open with a flat tool. Once detached, the faceplate should come off easily.
