How do you introduce two gerbils to another one?

DEFINETLY NO!!!! guinea pigs get spooked very easily, especially if it is larger than them. I introduced my cat and my guinea pig, and my guinea pig started squeaking so loud it was deafenig. It was so sAD- DONT DO IT!!
