Is it more important to be kind than to be smart?

No, being smart is more important. I'm pretty sure a smart lawyer makes more than a kind waitress. How many CEO's of a large company do you know that got to that position from being nice instead of kind? If your smart you can manipulate people into thinking your nice. Having smart ideas gets things done and pushing the idea, being nice gets you walked all over and taken advantage of and doesn't get the job done.
