When a tall girl dates a really short guy is the motive of protecting their smaller partner in the regular relationship still there and catering and loving their larger partner still?

i am currently in a serious relationship with a legal midget. i do find myself quite protective of little waldo. one time he got in a bar fight trying to protet me from a drunkard. he was brutally beaten until i stepped in and kicked that drunkard's trash.

i personally have no trouble loving my little waldo. :)
