When did seven eleven stores start?

7-Eleven was founded in 1927 when John Jefferson Green opened his first store in Dallas Texas, selling improvised milk, eggs, and bread. However, it was not until 1946 that these stores were officially changed to 7-Eleven to reflect the store hours of 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, which at the time was unheard of.
