What does it mean when a guy tries to copy the things that you do?

He isn't fully secure about himself. He feels that he will be accepted by you more by copying you and he also feels that he won't be doing the 'wrong thing' if he's doing what you have establishes as "okay' or 'cool'. Plus it menas he needs to find his own imagination and sense of originality. Hopefully you guys are pretty young.
