To sell.

Yes. That's true. However, that is only part of it. The role of any sales department, small business owner, or sales executive, is to be prospecting, creating relationships, and then selling.

For some it's easy. Of course that depends on how hard they have to work to sell their product or service.

Selling is only the end directive. It's the completed game. What matters first is that you're always looking for the next opponent. Once you have identified them and adapted to them, then you sell.

Sales is the cornerstone of any business that relies on commercial growth forcasting. Without growth there is no potential. Potential lies in others purchasing your product or service. And that's where we come in.

The purpose of a sales department is to seek out, identify and generate new revenue. Their role is to find prospects and use influence to barter.

Selling varies whether you sell on-line, on the phone, on the road, inbound or outbound etc.

There is no one role other than to create. Create business. Create revenue. Create a customer base. Thus creating a company's longevity.

Be it by hook. And never by crook.
