Is Skippy peanut butter safe to eat?

Hi my name is athena...I am 2 months pregnant & i really want to eat this skippy peanut butter but i read in some article here that it was recalled last may of 2011 due to salmonella bacteria contamination...

They recalled Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy Reduced Fat Super Chunk Peanut Butter Spread because of potential salmonella contamination. The product was distributed to Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. This was earlier this year more than 6 months ago so I think you are safe.
