How much salary in BE fresh candidate in your concern?

Under normal circumstances, a BE fresher(IT industry) shud comfortably get anywhere above 15k a month. But with this economic recession at hand, i guess the lower limit can come down to 10k. gettin a startin of above 20k in these situations is pretty hard.

There are some B.E freshers who are even workin as low as 5-6k a month(only cuz of recession, mind u).

(Basically , Im a B.Tech fresher as well, passed out in 2008. GOt a couple of plcements at 2 MNC's-L&T an satyam. But they havent called till now, so im workin at a so ftware firm offerin 10k . Pretty sad huh!!!!)
