Zelda ocorina of time -how do you get to the Shadow temple?

After you beat the water temple, shoot an arrow at the sun. The fire arrow will fall onto a small island. Go grab it and go to Kakaricho village. The village will be in flames and Shiek will be fighting an invisible monster. After the cutscean, she will teach you a new song. Play the song to find a secret area. Use Din's Fire to light all the torches and a door will open. That door leads to the Shadow Temple.
