How do you check the quality of a product?

The quality of any product is built into it at the designing phase. The specifications of a product are prepared and these specifications are the quality features of a product.

A manufacture checks the quality of its product against the approved in-house specifications.

A consumer has his/her own criteria of quality which will depend on the objective of purchasing a specific product. A product which meets the consumer requirements is a quality product.
