What is the setting in the story Rikki-Tikki-Tavi?

Rikki is a young mongoose who used to live with his family . One day a flood came and Rikki was flown by the flood's struggled for his life. Finally he came to teddy's house. Teddy and his family took well care of Rikki's day Rikki came to know about nag and nagina and from then they wanted to kill each ether's had killed nag in the bathroom of teddy's house and nagina under the ground and saved teddy and his family from them. Here Rikki had did the actual fighting.
