First, you need to determine where you are going to list your car. If you are planning on selling through the classified section of your local newspaper, they usually have a number or email address to contact them through. Ask how much an ad will be, then go out and take pictures of your car. Once you have pictures, send the newspaper the picture you feel represents your car the best along with the description, and they will handle the rest after receiving payment. If you want to list online (like on eBay Motors) then you will need to have an eBay account that is set up to sell. Once this is done (which usually takes about 5-10 minutes) post an auction or buy-it-now listing with an accurate description of your car and as many photos as you want to post. Just make sure they are in .jpeg or other universal file format*, and not in things like .xif or any other program-specific file type.
* jpeg/jpg, .png, and .gif are notable examples of "universal" formats that most sites, if not all, will accept in a flash.
