What do you do when your iPod touch wont turn on and the apple simble just comes up?

The Apple symbol means the iPod touch is working on Turing on. If that doesn't work and the screen returns to black, try holding both the home button and the power button simultaneously (together) for 15 seconds, and then releasing. The Apple will come up but that is normal. The iPod will then ask for your passcode, and you will be on!
