What type hydraulic fluid do you use in a grasshopper lawn mower?

What kind of hydraulic fluid do I use in a grasshopper 721 1998 model with a kabota engine

The Hydros require Grasshopper Fluid, or Mobil DTE 26

Without a manual I will guess that it takes ISO68 Any oil labeled : DTE 26

AW68, which is the same as dextronIII trans fluid, pretty much a standard hydro fluid. check your informational sticker on the unit, it will be somewhere that wont get weathered like under a panel or seat, it will have the fluid capacities and types listed there.

Be careful though, many companies use regular 30 weight motor oil in their systems, and nowadays even more use green type fluids that are mineral oil based.
