Where do spur wing plover originate from?

The name "spur wing plover" has been used for three different birds. To avoid confusion the three have had their names standardized as follows:

River Lapwing (Vanellus duvaucelli) from Asia

Masked Lapwing (Vanellus miles) from Australia

Spur Winged Lapwing (Vanellus spinosus) from Africa
