How many truck drivers or truckers were there in 2010?

No statistics on this available. While it might be possible to get a rough estimate of how many CDL holders there were, it doesn't indicate how many of them remain employed as such. In addition, no statistics are collected for trucks not requiring a CDL, such as single vehicles under 26,000 GVWR, registered farm vehicles, etc.
