Will galvanized steel rust if you grind it?

Yes , eventually it does rust but it takes a long time, in normal weather conditions, if you subject it to extreme conditions, it does not last as long, but still lasts quite a bit longer than normal steel.

So eventually you get rust; how can you deal with that and not get it spreading?
