Who agreed to finance Christopher Columbuss voyage?

King Ferdinand II and Queen Isabella I of Spain agreed to finance Christopher Columbus's voyage. They were motivated by the desire to find a westward route to Asia for trade, as well as to spread Christianity and enhance Spain’s influence and power.
