How and should you tell your ex that you are seeing someone new?

You should not feel obligated to tell your ex anything. He/she is your ex, which means he/she has no right to any decisions in your life. It is none of his or her business. If by chance you are still seeing this person (maybe sexually) than you have made a mess of things and have not made a clean break. For that reason, you should just simply tell your "ex" if you are seeing someone new rightaway. If this is a clean break up, than move on with your life and enjoy your new special friend without a second thought about your ex.

if it's just as a friend, tell them and give them the option.. PLEASE, to make the decision they deserve to make, of chosing to stay being your friend, or move on without you in their life.
